Our adults programs also offers a full training syllabus from white to black belt and beyond.


Fitness and physical development play a strong part in our lessons, For those those students who want to train in this manner, but not everyone wants to push there body to a limit so our classes are designed to cater for all fitness levels. The instructors will always encourage they will never give orders

Our syllabus content is as follows

KICK BOXING
With punches from western boxing mixed with powerful martial arts kicking techniques. Kickboxing has become very popular since its introduction in the seventies.

Predominantly a sport, Kickboxing is practised by people of all ages to get fit, healthy and improve confidence, with its powerful techniques and speed being a useful element in street defence.

Techniques are practised in lines, on pads and in sparring though for those not wanting to spar a free style pad program has been developed to enable them to get the benefits of sparring without the contact.

SPORT KARATE

Sport karate takes the traditional karate stances and techniques and frees them up with flowing movement, explosive speed and accuracy.

JU-JITSU

A traditional art which incorporates locks, holds, take downs, throws and groundwork.

In recent years with the advent of no holds bared many of the techniques have been hybrid to include striking this makes it much more effective as an element of street defence.

Techniques are practised with partners in a controlled and safe manner

STREET SAFE

This program uses basic techniques in scenario based situations with the onus on self-defence not fighting.

Every day items are investigated for their use as non-lethal weapons for defence.

The psychology of self-defence awareness and avoidance are at the core of the program
